Carmen B. Marquez is the founder of Carmen B. Marquez, P.C., and a highly experienced estate planning and elder law attorney. Since 2001, she has been helping individuals and families across California protect their loved ones, preserve their assets, and plan with clarity and confidence.
Carmen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in International Business and a minor in Spanish Literature from Loyola Marymount University in 1993. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001.
Carmen grew up in Los Angeles County as the eldest of five children. After losing her father at the age of nine, she developed a deep understanding of family hardship and resilience—experiences that continue to shape her empathetic approach to law today.
In 1998, she moved to Ventura County to start a family and has remained deeply involved in both the Ventura and Los Angeles communities ever since. Today, she operates offices in both Simi Valley (primary) and Glendale, offering accessible service to clients across Southern California.
